Anticipate, evacuate, re-evaluate

Hi James, spent yesterday and today at MHS for the Hilton match, first team won 40-0, very satisfying.

What has that got to do with anticipate, evacuate, re-evaluate? What was he on about in the first place? On the other hand how can a psychologist get satisfaction from an anihilation? Life is increasingly confusing.

That’s interesting, I had imagined age brought with it a sort of sublime objective clarity. Obviously not.
Having said that, you’re not the first to miss the tenuous associations underpinning my overwrought witticism. Michelle was not, in fact, suffering from panic attacks but from stiff muscles from pilates. My bodyguard shared his anticipate, evacuate, etc strategy with me and I was surprised by its similarity to my toilet strategy prior to flying. It has to do with drinking lots of coffee.

What bodyguard?

I repeat, what bodyguard?

Tenacity, however, clearly grows with grey hair. My driver last Friday in Jo’burg was also a bodyguard. It was strange to feel so safe being shuttled between my meetings.
