If I had my way …

… New Year would be in autumn. This is my season of new beginnings, when the air is crisp though the sun is shining and everywhere’s a rustle of leaves. This is the time for journeys and camping and fires in the early dark.

    yes everyone, we have just watched our extended versions of the lord of the rings trilogy….. its that time of year again.

    I have just bought a 5 man tent. With that and the 8 man tent there’s plenty of room for a camping expedition… the lakes or Peaks aren’t quite the Wilderness… Am off at the end of the month with E for a weekend in Derbyshire… shame you’re not here to bring Jo…
